About the Artist

Growing up in rural Ohio, my childhood was filled with adventures in the woods alongside my siblings, fostering a deep love for nature and my surroundings. Our mother played a pivotal role in nurturing our creativity, encouraging us to explore drawing, cross-stitching, embroidery and sewing.

As I transitioned into adulthood, my passion for art evolved into a fascination with painting. In 2015, I serendipitously began studying under a local painter in Dayton, Ohio. This experience opened my eyes to the structural elements that contribute to successful paintings and drawings, particularly those of the Modern Masters. The exploration of structure in art became the foundation upon which I build my creative expression.
